Equilibrium Moisture Content (EMC) with fan on/off thresholds — dashed line: estimated from dry-bulb sensor RH only · thresholds show active day or night setpoint at each reading
Fan activity — fans running over time
Kiln vs. Outside Temperature
Yellow shading = kiln warmer than outside (solar gain). Blue shading = kiln cooler than outside. Dry-bulb reads slightly high (+0.5–2 °C) due to the sensor's anti-condensation heater — trends are reliable, absolute values include a small upward bias.

Wick Health — RH % left axis · temperature depression & dew-point margin °C right axis · dashed lines: 88 % good / 70 % failed
Healthy wick: RH ≥ 88 % with 4–8 °C depression. If depression collapses toward zero, check RH — RH below 70 % with dew margin still high means the wick is dry and needs re-wetting; RH still high with low dew margin means near-saturated air, which is normal and self-correcting. Depression includes a small upward offset from the dry-bulb heater — watch the trend, not the absolute value.
